In a previous entry I specified that I believe there is a computer obsession and I do not to think we can mimic our whole brain in a computer. On the other hand I think we can model a specific brain function in the computer if we base this model on human brain data and we apply the biomimetic principles carefully. For example if we want to model creativity, judgment, reasoning etc we could do that by doing a careful analysis of the human brain first followed by smart programming. I also believe we never be able to exactly reproduce the human brain’s abilities.
